Beef 800° - Grill & Bar in Wurzburg

We ordered 2 burgers, both of which were awesome. But mine really tastes disgusting ? ? Beef patty really burnt and true that because of the bitter taste and lye bun really dry and hard (old rolls?) There was only a single tortillas of salsa, not even a drop of 14 € ended up in the garbage. My wife's burger is almost similar to wholemeal buns is dry and hard meat patty is ok but arugula is not fresh. We are disappointed ?. We were able to order elsewhere for € 35. Never beef 800 again.

Ordering is not worth it at all! The burgers are small and made almost inedible with the cheapest spice ketchup. The baked potato is almost a cheek, as small and burnt it is. The prices are also grossly excessive. All in all, I am very dissatisfied and will not order in this restaurant again.

On December 21st, 2020 I used the Beef800 delivery service for the first and definitely last time. It was also my most expensive and at the same time worst order ever. Price: € 24.90 (including delivery costs of € 2.50). For this I got the burger The Mexican, as well as the Canadian Fries Tonnato. The citizen: When the order arrives, it is still lukewarm at most, so that the cheese has melted onto the packaging and has become firm. It didn't look very appetizing (see picture). In addition, the burger was clearly over-salted. Plus point: the meat was fried medium well. Unfortunately it didn't get much out of the taste. The french fries: One cheek to describe it bluntly. French fries like the burger are still lukewarm at most and the tuna sauce .. well see for yourself in the pictures. It seems that a can was opened carelessly and poured over the fries. Add a couple of capers and that's it. Terrible taste. With the best will in the world, I can't imagine the chef wanted to eat this meal himself. I wasn't really well after eating either. I definitely advise against ordering from Beef800.

Very tasty food and cocktails. The restaurant comes highly recommended. You should save yourself the associated bar. Friendliness is definitely not capitalized here. Hence two stars deduction.

Ambience is very nice and friendly staff. But the food didn't come in full. When you finally had everything, the steak was cold. I think the price / performance ratio is not right here.

Food, service and atmosphere were very good. Unfortunately there was a vanilla pod in our cheesecake and was then sold to us twice as a "decoration". But since it was not visible from the outside, it was not a decoration for us, but an addition that does NOT belong in there. We were offered a new dessert, but the appetite for it had already passed, so it shouldn't have been on the bill. Oh well, we didn't get an invoice at all, the amount was only shown on a cell phone. Therefore not 5 stars.

Very nice atmosphere, very nice staff. The food was very tasty, even if the mushrooms didn't work that evening, we were compensated. Everything was to our satisfaction. We can only recommend it and everything looks as delicious as it does on the menu

Very chic restaurant with a stylish interior. The steak was fried to the point and as requested. The side dishes were also delicious. If you want to have a great evening, you definitely have to come here.

Very nice restaurant and very tasty food. I really like the decor of the restaurant! The food was served quickly too, so no long wait. I really liked the fresh preparation and the friendly service! I can only recommend the restaurant.

Super +10 **** Simply reserve a table online on your last vacation. But nowhere have I had such delicious steaks and a nice service plus a reasonable price. The meat perfectly medium, soft, tender and had the right taste. Gladly again.

Again a very tasty meal, as always when we are there. The only complaint was that one had forgotten 1 2 things, but these were brought directly on request. Due to the fact that it was quite busy, I see no reason to deduct large points.

Were at the Beef 800 today. Unfortunately, I have to confirm that the service is inattentive at all costs. Got a table at 1:10 p.m. That's it. The service did not notice us at all for over 25 minutes and another table. Of course, I am sympathetic to assistants but no longer in the mood. Are then one floor higher to the Italian. Was better.

First we called twice because we wanted to reserve a table. On the phone, however, we were told that there was no chance. Since we drove to Würzburg anyway, we passed the Beef800 looking for another restaurant. Since it looked pretty empty, we asked again on site and got a table immediately. The service staff were super friendly, unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. We always had to call the waitress when we wanted something. The drinks we ordered came quickly, but the empty glasses were not cleared away, so we had 12 empty glasses at the table by the end. (We were 4 people) The plates also stood for a while until they were cleared away. Unfortunately the food looked a lot better than it tasted. Fortunately, the aiolidip and the sweet potato fries were delicious otherwise I would probably have starved to death. We ate the steak platter for 2 people and an Alpburger. It was particularly interesting that you seem to have to pay extra for going to the toilet. When we went into the toilet we didn't even see the lady, but when we went out there was a very unfriendly "thank you" meant ironically because we didn't pay. Of course it is possible that we just had a bad day, because we came to the store because of the great reviews.

We heard about a steak house that is supposed to be really good. We drove straight from Heidelberg and found it straight away. We were warmly welcomed and seated at a clean table with nice wide chairs. The service was there immediately and always friendly to us. You can only say one thing about the food ... mega delicious. The burgers were really great and the steak was spot on. The waitress often came to our place discreetly and politely asked whether everything would fit or we had any wishes. You want such a service and eat. The only thing that bothered me a little was the people who walked past outside and could look at our food. Otherwise everything was fine. Will definitely be back.

We had been looking forward to visiting the Beef 800 all day. At registration everything was great, even without a reservation, to get a nice table which was reserved later. The waiter came relatively quickly to ONLY take the drinks. Since we already had the menu, I also ordered the starter. Then the drinks came and that’s it. We were no longer noticed. The menu was in front of us, the waiter kept walking by, looking around and still not taking the order. Those who came after us were served and got the food. After half an hour, the nice gentleman from the registration came by and I told him that it would be short with time, the order shouldn't be slowly taken. He immediately apologized and taken care of it. The waiter came and took the order. After a reasonable time, the steaks came without a side dish. These also came, but with a delay. The food was good. When we finished eating it went on - the empty plates stood in front of us and stood and stood ... Fortunately, the next table had paid and we joined. I think we would sit in front of the empty plates now ... There was no tip. The bottom line - a shame. Great location, when the weather is nice you can sit outside with a great view and delicious food. The concept and the kitchen can be so good if the service to the guest is poor.

The restaurant's beer garden has 3 different accesses or entrances. We went through one of these entrances and after a while we sat down at a table because all the staff ignored us. After about 10 minutes a very unfriendly employee came and asked if he could help us. Not in relation to 'what do you want' but rather in the direction of 'what do you want here'. We said that we'd like to have a beer first. Then we were accused of having to register at the entrance - like everyone else - otherwise we wouldn't get anything here. We are well aware that at the present time we have to register and give name and telephone number - we have no problem at all. But the incredibly arrogant way of the employee reprimanding his customers - without them deliberately doing anything wrong - really annoyed us incredibly, considering the fact that signs were only attached to one entrance to the outside area of ​​the beer garden. We then invested our money in the much friendlier staff at another restaurant, who must have been happy about the huge beer bill. PS: We are 100% pro corona rules and have no problems entering ourselves into lists. But to be called stupid by employees just because you don't understand their system is embarrassing and u professional.

I am only giving 3 stars here for the following reasons. The steak was lukewarm and fried through, (was ordered medium) which is unacceptable at a price of almost 30 €. The side dishes, such as the cucumber salad, fries, etc., were totally too salty. Despite the manageable number of guests, our orders were not completely placed or forgotten. The service very friendly and did its best. I would go back anyway as I think the Beef 800 team just had a bad day.

Service was friendly but something was forgotten with almost every order. The following drinks were either not delivered at all or twice. Of 3 steaks that were ordered medium, 2 were cooked through. The waitress immediately apologized and offered us a free dessert, which we found very nice. But never came. The Butcher platter was very small for its 64 euros. Noticeable was a very large mountain of fried mushrooms in the middle that none of the 6 of us had tasted. The meat was very, very good and reasonably fried. Very good taste but unfortunately not price / performance / quantity. The burgers we had were ok to very good. It was misleading that the dishes were all shown with side dishes on the menu, but side dishes always cost extra. Most of the side dishes were too salty. An hour of waiting for food seemed a bit long to us, but it was okay with the amount we ordered. In summary, we were a bit disappointed, but would give the restaurant another chance. Maybe they just had a bad day.

We ordered two burgers with sweet potato fries. The buns were very dry. The little sause that was on it didn't taste good. The croutons on the burger (whether croutons belong on a burger is also questionable in my opinion) were simply thrown carelessly on it. The fries were completely burned. All in all the food was just bad. The waitress took a burger off the bill but we had to pay for the fries and the other one. In any case, you can't recommend the burgers

Wow! Great food, great location, great menu options.

We went there with reservation (2 people). Worst service ever. They took our order after 20 mins and we waited for 2 hamburgers for 40 mins but they forgot to prepare them so we waited for 1 hour for nothing. In the end, waiters didn't care at all and we left.

I'll start I called to order a table for two. It was said that you don't have to do that ? we'll manage that. So when I was there I was asked if we ordered that.? ?. After I had explained it to me before on the phone that it was not necessary, we got a table after an apology. So then it went on, the order was placed promptly. After a while we got the food. The waiter who served us didn't even know what he had published. My wife ? had my steak and I had her steak ? ??. And strangely enough, we were seated at a very small table after us came a couple ?. These were placed at a better table space, ?. During the entire stay we were not even noticed, not even asked whether everything was okay. Or is okay. We were permanently ignored. Then after the said 1.5 hours we were only allowed to linger to eat. The waiter came who was also at reception. I told him now that we are not satisfied. He apologized and came with four free tickets for drinks ??. This blew everything up now. These are only for beer ? ???????. Hmm why no free choice drinks vouchers ?. So we're not alcoholics. And then only for 0.2 liters. So these have now ended up in the trash ?. I have never experienced such lousy service. This permanent disregard. The hammer ?. My wife liked to have another drink. And ate a dessert. I think that these days this shop doesn't need a good rating either. We dined for 80 euros. We are often in inns, upscale restaurants. And regardless of whether it is a simple inn or a more upscale gastronomy in none of these shops was the service so bad and the staff so untrained as in this one. Charge once and never again. But the meat ? was good. But that's it too. And next time I would recommend a sharp steak knife ? and not a blunt one.

Excellent meat!! The burger is one of the best I ate! Our order took long before arriving due to some technical problem, and the staff offered us a big bowl of fries and a salad for the "not expected" waiting time. Very much appreciated!

Excellent Service and Best steak sauce ever!!

Cozy restaurant, good for a evening hangout with friends. I was happy to get a pulled pork style beef burger. They have varieties of grilled and beef preparations. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Clean toilets and the price for dishes is standard. I must say that this Restaurant is not costly and not cheap. Guten appetite!!

Me and mine girlfriend were there at 6:15 pm on a Tuesday( one of the first few people there),anyways, we ordered the Black Angus medium well done with grilled vegetables and yam fries : steak tasted good, but unfortunately served abit too cold, and the veggies andfries were even more cold.. Plus while we finished our main dish and haven't finished our snacks of yam fries and veggies...the staff asked us 4 times within half an hour if they could clear our plates!!! Very irritating!! They asked nicely but we felt like we were being chased out.

UPDATE AT END OF REVIEW We tried the Bar and were thoroughly disappointed. Nearly all seating is at the walls, about two meters from the bar with only few seats directly at the bar. Neither location was particularly cozy, intimate, convenient or interesting. Drinks however are the real disaster. Free-pourers reign and seem to lack precision or enthusiasm. Feel free to settle down if you want to witness how to butcher a cocktail. We may try again sometime in the future. Another idea might be to check out the steakhouse. *************************************** UPDATE We recently gave this place another try. As a group of 5 we enjoyed the seating outside during a warm summer night with a wonderful view of the Marien-Castle. This could be a great place to hang out and have a few drinks ... if this didn't happen. Staff and cocktail menu seemed thoroughly overwhelmed when I asked for a Vesper Martini. Such a pity, not a particularly exotic drink for a bar - I thought - and resigned to ordering "any other dry Martini" they could come up with. The end of the story: my pals got their Gin-Tonic from a colleague waiter while our designated waiter had simply forgotten about my order and never bothered showing up until we flagged him down for the check. In the end I was glad not to have to paid for a drink. The service at this place is not worth spending a single cent.

Good burger, good bbq sauce, tasty drink, and great service! Staff knew English pretty well. We went with our toddler and baby but it would be great for a date or girls' night too!

We were a group of 15 on a bachelor party. Service was great and personal patient. Location was nice and Food was excellent.

The T-bone steak was cooked perfectly medium, which was super tender and flavorful, and it’s served with confit garlic, roasted tomatoes and a handful of fresh rockets. Everything on the plate combines together into a phenomenal dish. This is absolutely a recommended restaurant, I will for sure come dining with Beef 800 again!

The flank steak I ordered was perfectly cooked. The meat was very flavorful and had a perfect crust. For being the cheapest cut on the menu, it was really delicious and affordable. Presentation of the dishes was superb, too. Also, the portion size of the fries was surprisingly large. The flavor of my Negroni was nicely balanced, maybe a bit too soft for my taste, but still very tasty. BUT we waited 15mins after being seated to finally get a menu in our hands. During that period there were only 3 other tables around us being served and plenty of staff running around like headless chicken. After we had finally ordered our food we waited 45mins until it was done. During that period, plenty of other and larger groups which arrived after us, had already been served. We only ordered a burger and flank steak. If the food wasn't so good, I wouldn't return. But since the place just opened, they deserve another shot in a few weeks maybe. 3 out of 5. UPDATE: Returned about 3 weeks after the first review with a group of 9 during a busy Friday evening. Even though service was faster than on our last visit, the staff seemed to be even more overwhelmed this time around. Besides some minor problems, like missing chimichurri on my burger, plenty of mishaps occured with our orders. Two complaints stood out in particular: One of the cocktails was supposed to include basil, but it was served with mint, because they ran out of basil. Nobody of the staff told us until we noticed it. Similar problem with the pulled pork burger. It was supposed to be topped with pickled radishes. Instead they topped it with cucumber. Nobody of the staff told us until we noticed it. Overall, the food and drinks weren't on the same level as on our last visit. The bottom bun of my burger was very soggy, since it was already drenched in meat juices on arrival. The 'Bombay Crushed' cocktail mostly consisted of ice and citrus fruit wedges topped with some water. The faint amount of gin was hardly noticeable, if at all. Especially having finished up all the liquid after some mere sips, this drink was disappointing for 7,50€. Unfortunately the atmosphere of the location always felt very hectic and uncomfortable. At least our main server tried to stay friendly and helpful, even after many apologies and still having to serve way to many other customers at the same time. Still, it was a highly disappointing experience for us at such an upscale place. 2 out of 5.

This is by far the most beautiful restaurant in Würzburg!! The food is fantastic, we had the Tuna and Salmon. We will definitely come back again and again.
